Does anyone know what the deal is with the VHF freq for Henn Co fire pagers? Seems like they stopped broadcasting conventional all together!! Maybe its just me?!?! Sad as I listened to that about every day.

Are you using CTCSS tone decoding, Hennepin recently switched from transmitting the tone if 118.8 to I believe carrier, I have one radio that I had CTCSS in and had to take it out to hear Hennepin.

I will see what happens. That would figure it would be a pl issue. Didnt even cross my mind. What was the purpose of the change? Apparently I've been too busy to see the obvious!! Thanks for you quick replies!!

They removed the PL because the only "users" are pagers and alert receivers. While they do repeat the 800 audio, there should not be any VHF two way radios in use.
