Hex/din ??

WHAT does hex and din mean on the frequency sheets you get off the internet? also how do you put in TGID FREQUENCIES into my scanner? ty very much.BOB

I think by 'din' you mean 'dec'? Anyway, Moto talkgroups are displayed (for professional users, and certain Uniden and GRE scanner) in hexadecimal, base 16. The 'Dec' are the decimal equivalents. Not hard to arrive to using Windows calculator.

Another question to ask here is what scanner you are using - what system you are trying to program, software, the list seems to go on and on...you get the idea. While some talkgroups are tied to a particular frequency (such as AA fire dispatch on tg16) most are not.
