I noticed what looked like a HF dipole on the roof of troop G (you can see it from 95) any idea what they would use this for? Maybe emerg management or Nat. Guard?

Things have changed!

Things have changed! The man responsible for allowing GBARC members into the Troop G EOC is Rich Fournier who has since retired! See the link below!
Rich Fournier's Retirement Party
Rich is an AWESOME individual. Unfortunately for GBARC, the state EMD for region-1 that took over after Rich, was not a fan of having GBARC, ( who is a non ARES associated club), there. He is a big ARES fan. The antennas are pretty much the same ones that are installed in all the 5 state regional EOCs. I do NOT believe, unless something has changed, that GBARC or ANY other club mans that EOC. I don't want to get into an ARES discussion, but needless to say, they are no longer involved with the Region-1 EOC or Derby OEM last I checked. They do help out in the BPT. EOC from what I understand! I used to belong to GBARC. A large portion of the photo shots you see on their website were taken by me! I left for very personal reasons.
