The Columbiana site. License is expired, thought was off the air. Now I find defective antenna connector at my antenna.

Explains a lot of the crappy signals. Used to hear the site they have in Pa. Is it still up. Deaf that way on my yagi for some reason.

I see. Yeah, expired or not, they are active.

LCN02 472.1875
LCN03 472.3375

Unsure about what other frequencies are actually in use that are listed in the RRDB for HTW-Columbiana. But I do hear traffic on those two.

Is the info in the RRDB for HTW in PA correct to your knowledge, i.e. LCN order, freqs in use?

Now I am not sure if I ever heard traffic on the system in PA. Scanner showes no hits at all.

But I do show hits on city of pittsburgh system, so I can receive it.

Scanner is always on, just not always turned up.

RRDB does not list any of their PA channels. I just happen by them while surfing one day.

I was talking to a fireman in Washington county today who also programmed them. Never heard anything.

I had them loaded, but as I noted, no hits or stops on any channnels.

Like to listen to different stuff now and then.

I understand. A lot of the times it is much more interesting finding the frequencies not everyone is listening to, and especially trying to figure out who is using them, what system they belong to, etc.

I often run by Hi Tech freqs from various areas, usually if not always they are LTR systems. I'm not close enough to hear any of them full strength, but I can hear various ones key up from time to time and I can monitor the Columbiana one. With LTR, you'll hear some of the freqs key up very very briefly at regular intervals.

Seems to me that Hi Tech doesn't have a single system set up in any single area with the frequencies that the FCC says are licensed for them in that area. They appear to just have a bunch of different licenses and then use the frequencies in those licenses in whatever systems they feel like on any given day rofl.
