• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

I'm guessing this is a Phonak covert earpiece receiver, definitely secure.

It would be interesting to watch the 900 ISM or 2.4GHz spectrum during an event. I'd guess it is using 2.4GHz and masks right in with wifi signals.

My Phonak cost me around $3k when I had to get one for work. Most comfortable earpiece I have ever worn, and works perfectly with my XTS4000.

How exactly does the magnetic loop work with those? My 92 yo mother just got a set of those and COM Pilot bluetooth gadget. She paid S3800 for the package.

I do believe Hillary used an earpiece during the first debate. However, I doubt the veracity of wikiLeaks screen capture. I don't believe Huma's address is "state.goy" thats: dot "gee" "oh" "why" as seen on the screen shot. I believe it should be .gov. And, the @ symbol is a "c" copyright symbol. Now, I'm thinking this whole wikileaks mess is a Mossaad operation. IDK...
