Hi does anyone in the Hobart area have the new frequencies for other sites in the area that aren't displayed on R.R. Database? Am using Unitrunker SDR and keep getting new sites that require a controll channel frequency and channel frequencies. Any info would be greatly appreciated

Hi Paul thanks mate have checked the site and have found after programing unitrunker with Mt wellington site I get another 4 sites popup requesting a control channel and channel frequencies, I.e. Site 10 - site 24 which are not located in the Hobart area, also trying to find tas fire grn frequencies.
Merry Christmas

A GRN is a GRN, no one service has frequencies unique to itself - generally speaking. There are some exceptions like the Victorian MMR. The TFS uses a pool of frequencies like everyone else, they have a set of distinctive talkgroups (TGs) assigned to them.

Try joining the site via the link provided in the previous post. A LOCAL Tasmania forum is a better source of information that one located half way around the world and where half the people on it think we speak German.
