Home made scanner stand Pro-97 (pics)

I just want to share the pictures of a home made scanner stand for the Pro-97. I made it out of a Walmart bookstand for $2 + change for 2 of them. All I did was cut into the sides with EMS shears and bent the sides and the backing back and filed it smooth It needs a paint job.

Looks good - I love home made stuff. You might get some black felt or adhesive backed 2" wide foam weatherstripping to protect your $150.00 scanner from the $1.00 metal stand.

I like the felt and weather stripping idea. I'll stop buy the fabric shop or HD tomorrow; thanks for the input.
