What antenna connector is on the hp2 itself? Looking to buy the correct vehicle antenna mount for the unit.

Thanks

There is. You get it the same way as for the HP-1.
(register your scanner, then it will be shown as an option)

Look for a "pigtail" adapter that has a short length of coax between your vehicle antenna connector (probably PL259 or "N" type) and the SMA for the HomePatrol 2. This will act as a strain relief on the radio's SMA connector, and allow you to easily disconnect / reconnect the antenna to the radio. Adapters are available that go directly from one connector to the other but they can apply a lot of force to the radio connector... not a good thing.

The antenna is sma female - the HP1-2 connector is male

Sorry, Paul, but I just double-checked my HP-2, and the antenna connector on the unit is most definitely an SMA female. The antenna has the pin (male).

The scanner connector is the one below on the right (for clarity):

Do you guys use the program Sentinel to program? I started a favorite list and after like 4 sub folders under one system it creates a new system is this normal? I don't get why you can't have 1 system and 1 subfolder with all you channels I know you can add them manually but will it add them automatically?

Never saw it create a new FL after 4 Systems are added.

Also, you should start a new thread for a new topic.
