How Do I delete everything out of a BC860XLT?

Does anyone know how I can delete all of the frequencies out of a BC860XLT? Any help is appreciated!

Its been quite a while since I had one of these but if I recall correctly you turned it off, unplugged the power from the back, press 2, 9, and MANUAL together, and while holding all 3 keys in, insert the power to the back of the scanner. This should zero out all the channels.

There is no ability to computer control that model.
