How is the priority scan on minitor vi?

I am getting this pager and saw this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RX6xGHfutgg&t=81s). I was surprised how hard the pause/skip made the voice to hear. I'm assuming that the vi skip/pauses at the same rate. I know the reason behind why it does that but does anyone else have trouble understanding the nonpriority channel on priority scan mode. I was going to do priority scan for most of my knobs but now I am leaning towards probability scan. I know it means I may miss a page but I also get page notifications on my phone so that shouldn't be an issue.

Weird seeing one of my videos on here, haha. But you can change the speed of which the pager looks "back" at the first channel. I didn't have a hard time hearing what was coming over the 2nd channel, unless it was in that amplified charger, just because the amplified charger caused those popping sounds, but it was always on selective call in the charger anyway. But anyway, just play around with the timer and find something you're comfortable with, you could still miss calls if the timer is set to high.
