eorange, there was a great pass today. I transmitted twice on the downlink, thinking it was uplink, I got my frequencies right now. Hopefully tomorrow will be good!

There was a great ISS pass this past Friday night. Super bright, like -3.6 magnitude. I was calling like crazy to NA1SS, but didn't get through. I did hear them ack someone from Cleveland, though. Can't wait to try again!

Trying

I'm starting with the iss and not having any luck but it is great to hear them and nice to have so many opportunities. Huh ra for Commander Wheelock and his devotion to amateur radio!

Are you using 144.49 for the uplink to the ISS? Some people get lucky and get a contact on their first attempts. I've had APRS packets digipeated by the ISS but haven't gotten a voice contact yet.

AO-51 is back on after a software crash

I really enjoy working the sats and try to be on AO-27, AO-51 and SO-50 daily and SO-67 and HO-68 when active on FM. My biggest thrill was my QSO with the ISS. I use a Yaesu ft-60r ht and Arrow handheld antenna, usually while standing on my south facing patio. DM68 here, and I travel to DM58, DM57 and DM67 from time to time.

144.49 is uplink, I have heard reports that they are having radio problems, so they are taking both for uplink. 144.49 would be better until advised.

I'm always trying to get into the ISS Station. The wife loves it!!!!! Also the AMSAT Satellite's but they seem to be a little trickier. Persistence is key however :)
