how to listen YG/industrial business pool trunked

been out of the scanner game for a while , is this YG/business trunked stuff able to be heard on scanners ? is it just trunked is it a digital signal ?

It could be anything from analog (much less these days) to DMR (MOTOTRBO) to NXDN to even P25. There is no one answer, it all depends on what technology they've decided to implement on a case by case basis. Sometimes you can figure out what type of system by looking at the emission designators on the license, but not always. Sometimes they license multiple emissions because it doesn't cost extra to do so, and sometimes they are licensed for analog from 10+ years ago but have implemented a digital system anyway.

What scanner do you have? Not all are capable of DMR.

Post where you are and what type of scanner you have. More than likely, the system is already in the database and the locals in the area can help you out.
