Alright guys...Another stupid question..I need to know what I need to get to program my scanner through the computer..I am interested in utilizing this scanners full potential..I want to know where I can get a cable and the software to be able to get er done

You should really check those links out - read them completely, particularly the RS ones - you might learn something that presently isn't being widely advertised...

MUCH thanks guys..This place is a wealth of knowledge..HAM's are gonna come in very handy someday..soooooon...I had this thing selling on ebay..But you helped me figure it out..After programming a dozen or so channels I was able to pick up pretty much everything in my county that I wanted to hear...

Now I would like to know what "trunking" is and how it is different than regular "frequencies"
