Hello. That is basically my question.
In Chirp, the offset is set to 0.000000 for these NOAA channels, and there is an error message that I get if I try to set the offset to some "out of. radio range" number. There is no "transmit frequency" column in Chirp (late June version), so I can't turn that "off." How do I assure that no accidental transmissions occur on these channels from a programming standpoint? I'm using a Baofeng radio. I am surprised this is not automatically programmed into the pre-programmed NOAA channels provided in Chirp.
I'm looking forward to your comments.
