HP 1 - does long recording keep time?

If you record on your HP 1 for several hours (overnight, for example), are you able to determine what time each incident happened?

I'm guessing it shows the time the recording began, then does a countdown so you can figure it out, similar to an audio recording.

Also, are the recordings tripped by sound, or does it just keep running?

If it functions the same as the 436 (I don't Have HP1)... It will create a folder that will hold 100 audio files then create a new folder for the next 100 etc etc...
It starts recording on an open squelch and stops when it closes... All the files have a time and date stamp as the file name...
