HP-1 Internal Speaker Bass and Treble Adj.?

Hello,

Any way of adjusting Bass and Treble for the Internal speaker of the HP-1 scanner ?

Not that I am aware of.

Hold down volume up when powering on the HP-1. When the start picture appear hold down volume down and the service menu will appear.

Go to Codec test and Tone gain. There you have treble and bass adjust for analog audio.
There are a second line for what could be digital decoded audio, for the HP-2.

Does this setting actually save? I made some adjustments but if power the unit off and go back into the test menu, the base & treble settings are back to default.

I've never tested any of the settings in service mode if they will "stick" after a restart. Don't know what the settings would be used for if there wasn't a way to store them to be used in normal mode.
