I up dated hp2 for the first time I did everything it said but now sd card error removed the bartterys and didnt help i did the sentinal all clear still didnt help I should have left it alone now what can i do Thanks

Try formatting the card in a PC, then reinstall and clear user data and then update database and download any favorite lists.

iM confused put that micro sd card in the slot where i put sd cards I have a laptop the slot is way to big

Use this utility to format the card (recommended by Uniden):


Then use the "clear user data" utility in Sentinel to prepare the card for use in the scanner, then write your programming to the card.

Well I have no clue what I did I formatted it still have the error Im lost

If you have only formatted the card, the scanner will not recognize the card and still give you an error..... until you use the "clear user data" function in Sentinel. You need to do both steps.

Well I got togo to work I retired 4ys ago and now they cant get anyone to work I should give you a call tomorrow im sure its a simple fix Thank You

Ok I went over what I did I updated hp2 like it said I had to format mircosd card didi that Now I get a message to reomove batterys for 1mn still get message I cleared user data now a window comes up with select hpmicrosd on top on bottom of window there is refresh info display all ok and clear the ok is not hilited now what do I do

When you use the clear user data function, check the box that says “display all drives”.

Is there away to start over like when it was new? like a said I should have left it alone it was working fine I have no clue what im dong

Relax you can figure it out. Just try a new card and format it to FAT32 then put it in the radio and clear user data and update from there.
The card may be corrupt and that would cause the problem.

Well I will have go find a new card when they open up All I was going to do was a update which I have never did sinse I got this thing I worked fine untill I screwed it up did the updates I may have to have someone walk me through it I am so lost I could call
