When using the Web Player and clicking on the lime green "Play Live" button, it turns red with a square and says Stop Live. What does it mean when it turns red but there is a blinking circle instead of the square?

Without using the static URL, is there a way to add syntax to any of the Web Player URLs to have the WebPlayer auto play so I dont have to click the "Play" or "Play Live" button to start the feed?
