Went into my local pizza shop. There were a couple of uniformed officers waiting in line. They had no shoulder patches, so I kind of positioned myself, so I could see their badges.
They did not have a badge, but rather their blouse had an imprint which stated, 'human resources'.
I asked one if this was a state organization--he acknowledged that it was. Both were armed and had all of the usual paraphernalia that a patrol officer would carry.
I usually think of human resources as being off in some office, rather than packing a weapon.
Anyone have any information exactly what this 'organization' is? There was no identifiable police vehicle outside the store.
