I've started a wiki page for Hurricane Ian related communications info. For past major hurricanes that make landfall, we typically create a Wiki page to gather information related to radios communication info.

Feel free to add links to audio feeds, talkgroups and frequencies that are in use for Ian related operations, etc. If you aren't comfortable editing or updating the wiki, post your observations and data here and someone will update the wiki for you.

Is the Charlotte Phase 2 system down?
that's a good question. I do not know. Nothing on the media other than (sorry to say this - I know some will be offended) completely ignorant fire department personnel who sat in their station with a million dollars worth of fire trucks and watched them get flooded. SMH. I simply do not understand why people just sit around and watch property get destroyed when it could have easily been relocated prior to landfall.

although I don't think we have any regular forum members in the heavily affected areas of Florida - those of you with the capability are reminded of these freqs - high probability they will be in use in the coming days:

Federal Disaster (United States) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference (radioreference.com)

and

National Interoperability (United States) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference (radioreference.com)

as a general observation, it appears that the number of rescues and other storm related calls for services are starting to decline significantly in Orange and Osceola counties.
