There is one in Elizabeth City that is on 464.55 simplex which is a common frequency for other stores as well. Ace hardware in Ahoskie uses it as well.

This is what AI says, "
Yes, Food Lion stores use walkie-talkies. They are used by various staff members, including maintenance, security, and warehouse personnel, to coordinate daily operations and communicate effectively. FCC records show that Food Lion has industrial/business pool licenses for radio communications, which are used in their grocery warehouses."

in reality only YOU are going to know if they have them, by seeing them in person.
Then ONLY you would then be able to confirm a freq/tone if using Close Call and seeing (again) in person.

Yes, some ACE Hardware Stores use Radios.
Based on what I've seen, ALL Ace Hardware stores may have been sent a bunch of radios from HQ (do they use them ? varies by store)
and I've only seen/found three using radios. Yet have seen cache's of radio just sitting on a desk, cooking away.

Food Lion uses Motorola Digital UHF or 900 mhz ISM radios in most of their stores at least in my area.

They use some type of digital mode, that I think is non DMR.

" Advanced Digital Communication: Operating in the digital 900 MHz ISM license-free band, this radio offers secure and reliable communication across expansive areas of up to 300,000 square feet or 20 floors. It ensures privacy and reliability superior to analog radios"
