I need a battery pack for my portable scanner on vacation

Hello friends in Mass, I packed everything I needed for vacation here in Manomet at White Horse beach and forgot the battery pack for my GRE P500!! Does anyone know of a radio shop here near Plymouth that I can get a pack for my portable? I’d even think about renting one if someone has an extra. Thanks. Steve

Don't think these stores will carry a GRE part.

Best you could do is get a universal DC power adaptor to power from main AC power

Thank you friend I have the AC adapter with me but sitting in the beach is where I spend most of my time. And I am always in the hunt for shark sightings. Thank you though

No known shops, but it's the same "generic" AA pack as most uniden/bearcats, for your on-line ordering pleasure

Do you have a mobile power cord for this scanner to power off your vehicle's 12 volt socket?

If you you do could power it on beach with something like a 12 volt jump start battery with lighter socket on it. Would be kind of pain to carry to beach, but then scanner would run for a very long time.
