At IBM's Yorktown and Poughkeepsie offices and labs, IBM has a fire brigade called "Emergency Control" which responds to all EMS and Fire calls on the property. I'm just wondering how this agency is dispatched and if by radio, what freq?

Thanks in advance!

Poughkeepsie lab is dispatched by radio by their own dispatcher. However the Poughkeepsie plant is on a Mototrbo system. I'm not sure of their exact freqs though.

With my experience with local private fire brigades everything is done internally and never dispatched by local 911, nor do they go off property for calls(rarely do). Locally up by Albany we have a little more than 1/2 Dozen Brigades.

Remington Arms plant in Ilion, NY has their own Fire Brigade, Fire Marshall, EMS services, and Security. As well as interop with local PD/Fire/EMS.

IBM Palisades was a large facility that was operated by Mariott and a security contractor. I suppose it's the Dolce Hotel and Conference Center Palisades now, but back in the day, security had cameras along the property and building interior. No fire brigade that I remember, but they were very proactive some 20 years ago. They had a large monitor bank, CentraCom 2 consoles and a Dictaphone logging recorder. The setup was better equipped than many of the local dispatch centers of the time.
