Hello All,

This question is for my IC-7410 or any rig that use the same display......

Am I doing harm and shorting component life by keeping the intensity at 50%? Or is it made / better to be driven at higer intensity like 75% -80%

73 to all!

I have had my 7410 for over a year and I keep the backlight intensity 50%. I have also had an original 756 and a 756 Pro and never had any backlight or other display issues with any of them. I would say that you should adjust the setting to where it is most comfortable for you to look at and not worry about it.

No Problem

I have had my 7410 for over a year & keep it at 50%.
And have had no problem's with it, I'm glad I bought it.
It's been a sweet little radio. Hope to catch you on
the air waves some day.
