Would anyone have a copy of the programming software for this ICOM HT?
I used to have it some ware, but that was a long time ago and cannot find it.
I'd love to reprogram this radio. It's been a good performer over the years.

Thanks,

Mike

Do you not have the manual? The radio only has 40 memories. Can't be that hard to program.
Larry

I thought the same thing. Don't think I used a software program. I will say the manual programming can be a pain, but once one is familiar with how to load tones, offsets it really doesn't take long.

Very productive responses guys.
Re-read my post slowly...If you don't have, or know where I can get a copy of the software, no response is necessary.

You say you used to have a copy of the programming software. Do you remember where you got it? Do you remember who wrote the software? Do you remember how you obtained it in the first place?

The point I'm getting at is this: unless the programming software you had was free, asking for a copy of it in this forum is very close to violating the forum rules about soliciting for copyrighted software. Tread carefully.

Oh good grief! I'm asking if anybody has a copy of it, then I can go from there on how to get myself a copy of it, if it still exists.
Obviously, if I remembered how, where, when I got it, I wouldn't be asking the question in the first place.

Re-read my simple question, and don't read anything INTO it.

Thanks

The amount of time spent on this could have programmed it manually. And that is the benefit of front programmable keypad radios for amateur radio. And I guess the assumption I made is that a search had already been done. Or most amateur radio operators know about RT systems so would have been the first place to look. And by asking for it, the assumption I made was you want someone to send it too you. People often say I am not succinct. So it behoves the person posting the question to explain just what he wants. But again, I would never think one needs software for a 40 channel radio, unless it was explained they use it travelling to many different localities, etc..

The simple question warranted only one of two responses...yes I have a copy and here's where you can get it, or no I don't have a copy but here's where you can get it.

toastycookies understood that.
