I recently bought a used IC-2820H to use as a 2m/70cm base. Before buying the gentleman I bought it from made contacts on both bands so, I am confident it was working fine. Along with the purchase he gave me an RT Systems Programming disk and cable. He had the radio programmed with many repeaters but none of which I would ever use. I wiped his programs from memory and used the software to program my own local repeaters and uploaded them to the radio. I have checked the parameters many times and feel confident they are correct. I am using a Comet GP-3 antenna about 25' high. I can receive transmissions from all the repeaters within range but when I transmit I get no reply. I have had friends waiting for me to transmit so they can give me a radio check. They are not hearing me? I am lost, Please HELP! K4BUF Thanks!!
