I just bought an old IC-735 and have 2 questions for someone who might be familiar with these models,on the rear there is a rca type jumper,an ext.antenna in and a x-verter jack (transverter) and a antenna out,the only way i'm getting any signal is with the jumper between the antenna out ant the x-verter jack,is this correct?the manual shows the antenna out to go to the ext.antenna in but I get no signal like this, also my power supply is inadequite (15 amp with 18 surge) I have a 28 amp on the way (seeing that these require 20) I have been using the 15 amp to listen, shouldn't the radio be able to transmit in low power mode with the 15 amp p.s.? or will it damage it or go into some protect mode,I know in the past i've made due with inadequite power supplies on my vhf/uhf mobiles just having to use them in low power modes,i know this is not good practice period but just wondering my options as money is tight and I'm trying to power everythhing on a budget but don't want to fry a $400 radio over a $150 power supply

disreguard this post as the rig I purchased turned out to have many issues and has been returned to the seller and now that I have proper power supplies for everything shouldn't be an issue in the future
