New to this hobby and have the ID52. Made a grave error and did a complete factory reset instead of conducting a partial. Of course I’ve lost the repeater settings etc and wondering how to restore the lost settings. I assume I should connect to laptop and figure it out. Prepared to take the jokes from the community but I will be grateful for any detailed help on this. Very embarrassed but will be very grateful for advice. TYIA…

You've lost the repeater list which was pre-programmed into the radio. Go to https://www.icomjapan.com/support/ and search for 'repeater list'. You'll find one for each radio. The latest (for the 905) should work. There are also instruction on how to install it into your radio.

Hey...I just stumbled onto RT Systems programming software. No special cable for the ID-52. It's awesome...(not an affiliate...just someone looking for good solutions...)
