Icom W32a Programming

Would anyone know where to get the software for icom IC-w32a using windows 7 I see RT systems has this but I will not buy one of those required cables for just their software.

RT System should have an option for just the software. This cabel (USB or DB9) is the same as use on many of the radios in my shack (both ham and commerical).

At one time, I know Icom had issued the software for this HT as well.

Personally I enjoy RT's software as I am lazy and can just cut and paste between the different radios.

Not sure why you won't buy the cable(OPC-478) but they are plentiful and cheap on ebay.

If you have a ham friend that already has one you can just borrow it.

Did you ever find just the software for the IC-@32A? I know that RT systems does NOT sell just the software and their software ONLY works with THEIR cables! Don't like that aspect as you can't back up their software either!

I'm in dire need of the programming software for this rig as well. We have 1 of these radios in our County Community Health system and it has NEVER been programmed or used! In fact I JUST took it out of the box and plugged the charger into it! I have no idea when it was purchased, but it's been several years and the software was not purchased at that time and I can't find it ANYWHERE, except RT System and we've already purchased the cable from ICOM (which works for most ICOM radios with the same type of connector, so we don't "need" an RT Systems cable).

If you have ANY idea where I might find the software, I'd GREATLY appreciate that information!
