Good evening,

I'm looking for the best way to import the following channels to my BCD436HP. I have the sentinel software. I do not know/can't tell what type of systems these channels are using - any help would be appreciated. Thank you

If they are in the RR database (some are), copy them from the main database in Sentinel. If they are not in the database, add them to a conventional Favorites List.

That licensee has locations in a number of locations in several different states. If that user is not on the page of the counties you are interested in, then you would not be able to do an web import using software such as ProScan or ARC536, nor could you append the entity from the main database. You also would not be able to access the information by appending from the main database in Sentinel.

You could highlight the data on the page & copy it to the Windows clipboard, then use the clipboard import of ProScan to select the column of frequencies that you want to enter. (I don't use ARC536, but it might have a similar capability.

To copy into Sentinel, you would need to paste the data into a spreadsheet format, such as .csv, then select the column with the frequencies & paste into a system using the Favorites list editor.

Copy everything and paste into Excel or OpenOffice Calc and then sort on state and for the second selection county and third for the city. You can move and delete columns so you have the frequency column next to the city column. Then copy some frequencies and paste into Sentinel and then copy the same amount of city names and and paste that in Sentinel.

You can make one system in Sentinel for each state and in each state make a department for each county and name tag each frequency with the city name. All this as conventional systems. You set the Audio Option to Search to be able to handle all system types.

If some frequencies belong to a common digital site and are trunked, then you'll probably notice that after a while if you set to record it and then use Universal Scanner Audio Player to analyze what common talkgroups and User ID are used on which frequencies. Then make a trunked system and move those frequencies to a site.

The Code in the FCC list says MO for mobile frequencies and you do not need to scan those. Only use the codes that start with an F for fixed basestation.
