We’ve discovered a problem with the Library files related to importing NXDN systems that have no RAN assigned, like this one: Howard Communications Trunking System, Columbia, Maryland - Scanner Frequencies
The site RAN is supposed to be “ANY”, but the Library incorrectly sets it to 0 (zero).
This is caused by a bug in the Library conversion process. It is not a problem with the RR data, the PC software, or the scanners’ firmware.
A library rebuild will be scheduled for tonight (15 Dec). A new version (500) will be available tomorrow AM (16 Dec).
In the meantime, you should verify any NXDN system sites that you import from the scanner’s library data, whether via the PC app or in the scanner. If it says “RAN: 00”, you might want to check it against RadioReference. Or, just change it to “ANY” in the PC software or via the scanner’s UI.
