I can’t listen to anymore feeds than I did before becoming a premium user. I’m in Texas Tarrant county. For instance, local police, fire, Skywarn storm reports, they all are archived and can’t listen to live reports. Even where it says to search nearby location. It just stays in searching mode.

Would be helpful to know what platform you're using, desktop or mobile? Are you trying to listen to regular feeds or the Calls system?

Being a premium subscriber doesn't unlock additional feeds in Broadcastify, though it allows you additional benefits in the calls platform (Blue TGID in RR database) and increased access to archives.

I’m using iOS. Mobile. Local law enforcement and other feeds I can try to view are only archived and there’s a 3 min delay, if that makes sense. Frequency search doesn’t apply to me yet since I don’t have a radio yet, but will soon. Thanks

I am trying to understand the issue you are describing. Are you saying that you are unable to listen to the live feeds at all and can only download the archives, or are you saying that you can listen to the live feeds but there is a 3 minute delay? If it is the latter, that is completely normal and expected. There is always going to be a small delay between when traffic is originally broadcasted and when it makes its way out through Broadcastify.

Mostly can’t listen to live feeds. I understand the delay especially with local police and all. I’m sure it’s something I’m doing wrong and I’ll figure it out one way or another. Thanks.

I had this problem once...and irked me to no end until I discovered I had to Log In again. Boy did I feel stupid! DOH!!!
I can imagine.. well I’ve logged in but regardless, every county it’s always an archived listening experience. I can’t wait to get my SDS100 in that I ordered. Should alleviate having to use this site other than forums, info, etc. we’ll see how it goes. Thank you!

Are the live feeds listed as being there? Honestly it would help of we knew what feeds you were trying to listen to. Also I I read you have an SDS 100 coming which is fine but have you double checked stuff in your area isn't encrypted or something. I've used MacOS and safari for years on Broadcastify and never had a problem getting an actual live feed. What area are you trying to listen to, I'lll see if I can get at it. OR....what particular feeds?

Just an FYI, don't need to be logged in to listen live to any traditional feeds that I know of. If I recall correctly, that gets you into archives and limited calls stuff. I was able to listen to the public playlist for my calls feed, not logged in, my NOAA feed. I listen almost everyday to my traditional feed and don't have to log in to listen. You may get an ad or something at the beginning though by not being logged in.

But as everyone has asked, what feed you trying to listen to?

That’s true. I figured out that I didn’t have to log in on live feeds. I was actually following the recent storms on my radarscope and searched the impacted areas fire depts and first responders reports surveying the damage. Some live while others were archived as you are aware of. Thanks!

Mostly listening to out of state first responders, police and fire depts during the latest storm wave that came across. As far as the operation of the sds100, I don’t have a clue since it’s my first scanner, so it will be a challenge and wish I was a lot younger too. The bearcatwarehouse guy indicated being located in the DFW area, most is encrypted and digital but he’s in the selling business. Idk. There’s a lot learning and probably overwhelming but I’m retired will get me away from all the honeydos so to speak! Thanks!

Mostly local police, fire depts and clicking on out of state storm reports through those agencies. I’m getting there! There’s alot of information on this site that I haven’t even touched on and I’m sure I’ll be spending a lot of time on here like most. Thanks!

With latency through the servers and to the phone. A 3 minute delay to the live feed is not unheard of from time to time. Restart the device and see if that helps the issue.
That’s true.. Didn’t take long to distinguish the live feed and the archived feeds. Restarting didn’t really help much but that was before I finally figured things out. When I get my scanner in I’m sure I’m going to be busy trying to figure it out and just bouncing back and forth on this site. Thanks!
