I have SPPD C2C programmed in as talkgroup ID 11562, but it sounds like a dispatcher. Does anyone know why this is? If 11562 is the wrong ID for C2C what am I hearing and what is the correct ID for SPPD C2C. Also the other night there the SPPD had event occuring (I missed what was going on) and they took it to SP Ops 1. Anyone know what frequency that is? And while we're at it - obviously I'm pretty new to the scanning business and trunking is especially hard for me to understand, but I'm starting to get it. However, I still don't understand if conventional channels are still being used as well. I'm really only interested in Ramsey County and SPPD - do I need to program in conventional channels? In a different bank? I have a RS Pro-96. Just got it less than a week ago so still learning. Would appreciate the help anyone could give me. (I manually programmed, am not going to be downloading unless it seems really necessary).

11562 SPPD 3 now seems to be used as dispatch ch 3- at least in th evenings I have been listening. 12400 is SPPD Car to Car, 12408 is SP Ops 1.

I've noticed this as well. Perhaps they split the channels into west and central now that they have the room for them.

Thanks for the helpful info. Are there other talkgroup IDs that I'm missing for SPPD and Ramsey Cty? I programmed off of the Talkgroup ID pages I found on this website. What about the conventional channels. Do either of you have anything programmed in for them? If so, why?

Thanks to everyone for the great info. I really appreciate it. Here's another question for you. Now that I have a number of active channels I've noticed some of them seem to cut in and out alot - or they sound warbly. Are these frequencies I just don't receive clearly?
