Hi all,

That looks familiar, something similar to the top section is atop a USCG tower in Manasquan NJ. I suspect the ring of dipoles is used with the modern version of the goniometer, you probably have heard of Doppler DFing. The lower section is a bit of a mystery, the housing could have just about anything behind those panels. Since there are a few jammers floating around on the 2M repeaters "I gotta git me one of these!" and a quad 50 wouldn't hurt. (;->)

You can find them (the antenna) at your local DRMO. But W/O the associated software and hardware attached, it's intended use won't be realized.

Hmmmmmmm... I wonder how many *years* I'd have to wait for that rig to end up on the `surplus market'? {VBE/W GRIN!} A self contained mobile `monitoring post guarranteed to `raise more than a *few* eyebrows''!? {CHORTLE!}
