I am using a Radio-shack Pro-94 trying to monitor Richardson, TX FD. When I manually select frequencies I can hear the data channel and whatever voice communications may be coming across them.

When I go to trunking mode though, the scanner pops up the IDs on the screen while people are talking (I guess) but no sound plays.

Kind of a dumb question, but it certainly fits the problem:

Is the Pro95 programmed to mute itself when tracking EDACS systems?

:confused::confused::confused:

Is it a 94 or 95? I don't know anything about the PRO-94 but I do have a PRO-95.
It sounds like either you don't have the correct LCN order or you have the bank in closed mode.

It is a 95...I'll try moving all the freqs up one slot to start at 01. I didnt even think that would be a problem.

Don't just move them up a slot - match their LCN's. So if there is no LCN07, then don't put anything in slot 07.
