• To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:

Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.

If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

SLR5700 Satellite receiver

I have been running a 5 site IPSC system with no issues … I set my master up today for master voter and the regular repeater connect but I can’t get any satellite receivers to connect

All firmware the same

The master site is address 192.168.1.91 port 5001

The satellite receiver is on the bench at the same location on a vlan 192.168.7.92 but will not associate with the master …. If I switch it back to normal repeater works perfect … go back to satellite recover and won’t connect

Any help

Unique radio ids on the repeaters, unique udp ports on all repeaters, does it work if in same subnet?

Voter needs to be setup on the repeater that is comparing audio between itself and the satellite receiver.

So, if you have 5 sites and you are adding a receiver to site 3, then site 3 is the voter with the satellite receiver feeding off of it with same RX freq, color code, etc as the voter.

I set one of the repeater as “master voter” it’s ip is 192.168.1.91 port 5001 … i set the other as a satellite receiver pointed at master with a peer id 1 and a stability factor .5 …. The repeater radio ids are 1 number apart … all I get if the flashing network might … if I change it to “normal repeater” connects instantly

The same subnet has the exact same results

It would be very hard to be on M2025.03 since it will not be available till Late November at the earliest --

M2025.02 is current.
I see what you are referencing … I don’t think I make it that far it definitely never reboots … it looks like once I get it working I’ll have another issue haha
