is it even possible to listen online stream in Forrest County,Mississippi Hattiesburg

Mississippi Radio Discus find an online streaming method for my area's police/sherrif departments on my Samsung Galaxy S3, Android 4.0.4. I've searched your forums, in (mobile and desktop mode), googled and searched radio sites like Nexus and shoutcast until I'm cross-eyed, and downloaded every scanner app in every market to no avail.

I live in the Hattiesburg/Petal area, Forrest County, Mississippi. Your website says they operate on a Trunked system in multiple talkgroups. I will reference some of the links to older posts I've found concerning their system.

WHAT I MOSTLY AT THIS POINT DESPERATELY NEED TO KNOW IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO LISTEN TO MY LOCATIONS PD FREQUENCIES, OR AM I WASTING TIME AND SANITY lol. I am uncertain as to whether it's just my lack of knowledge & experience, or if our lovely PDs have somehow evaded online streaming of their communications, and must purchase an actual scanner....

Currently no one is providing a feed for Forrest County, just the Hurricane Net. You can't listen to a feed that is not there. The forum links you posted are seven or eight years old. You will need to purchase a scanner.

It is not a matter of the PD evading streaming it is the fact that no has stepped up and provided a feed.

True, there has not been a live FC feed in a couple of years now. There are at least 5 MS feeds that have gone silent over the past few years. Tupelo, Forrest Co., Lincoln Co., to name a few. So if you want to monitor Hattiesburg/FC, then you will need a digital capable scanner. They are going P-25, and MHP Troop J is full time MSWIN.
