Is this a good antenna?

I found a Radio Shack that has a couple of these antennas for $21

Are they a good antenna for for the entire range from 25-1300mhz?

Any input greatly appreciated

They are worth the $. If it has an SO-239 socket for the PL-259 plug then insert an "F" adp. Use RG-6 and "F" to BNC adp on scanner.
