TRX-1: Issue with DMR Color Code during record

Recently did some onsite monitoring/recording of DMR channels in use at a business. During recording I noticed that the color codes added to the recordings were not always accurate. In this case, recordings were done from the same location, using same antenna of a channel I know is using ONLY color code 7, but I saw 3 or different color codes on the recordings, which wasn't accurate.

Has anyone else come across this? Is this a bug or just how it is?

To show you what I am talking about, attached is an Ez Scan export of the list of recordings made over several days, showing the CC information. Some of the correct CC entries were deleted to save space, and the correct CC is 7. The incorrect CC recordings have same people/traffic on them.

I just read your words. I have noticed these errors recently. It’s annoying because I don’t know if I must set the CC as any or the most used color.

This scanner is a nice device but Whistler shouldn’t improve the firmware as they gave up the TRX-100/200 project...
