Iuka doesn't appear to be licensed for any frequencies either, except for the street department with a repeater on 154.965.
On a somewhat related note, does Tishomingo County still use 154.995 as their fire net? I haven't heard them in quite a while, but I may just be too far away. I remember Itawamba County SO used to bleed over into that freq.
COMMUNICATIONS OFFICERS: The Dispatch Office is staffed by both full-time and part-time communications officers. Communications Officers are responsible for handling all incoming calls to the detention center. These calls include calls from the E-911 center, radio calls from all patrol officers and calls from the general public. Communications Officers are usually the first point of contact inside the Tishomingo County Detention Center. These officers also dispatch calls for Belmont, Burnsville, Tishomingo, and Iuka Police Departments.
I can't say for sure that the last two above are being used but I'm fairly certain I've heard the PD on 155.310 this year. Guess I'll have to plug them all in and see.
Once the FCC figures it all out, Iuka will go broke paying fines and/or having to start from scratch with licensing if indeed the above frequencies are still being utilized.
