• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

I put this in the Wyoming thread with no luck, so I am trying here. I am doing research on unique/one-of-a-kind fire apparatus, and was wondering if anyone could provide pic's or a link to pic's of this rig, a 1996 Peterbilt/Darley apparatus.

Thanks,
Frank

did you try contacting the airport crash, fire, rescue crew? They might be of help, or if your are local to the airport seeing if they would let you stop by.

Crash 3

Hello lakekid313 & RHFD910

As I've said in the first post, I am doing research, as a personal hobby, on unique/one-of-a-kind fire apparatus. This truck was built by Darley on a 1996 Peterbilt all-wheel-drive chassis. This rig features a 2800 gallon water tank, 1250 gpm pump, foam cells, dual deck guns, and a 50' Snozzle, among other things. As far as I can determine, this was the only truck in this configuration built for airport use. I am in Colorado, so I can't really go out there in person, much as I would love to, so I am hoping someone on the Board could help out.

Thanks,
Frank
