It's a Motorola Type 2 900 MHz trunked system. Setting it up in your scanner depends on which one you have. All of the information for the system is posted on the RR Database - New Jersey - Monmouth County.

Sorry. I can't help you with programming using software. I program everything into my scanner manually.

BTW I have the BC785d, the base model of your scanner and have the JCP&L System in mine. The Motorola Type 2 800 and 900 System are the easiest to program. Just the the bank, the system type, the frequencies and talk groups. No base frequency, offset channel, spacing, or fleet maps. Doing it manually is easy, but a bit time consuming. Maybe someone can give you some advice about using the software.

I have noticed that with the 900Mhz band, the reception is much better if you have the freq.'s setup as NFM, rather than FM.

OK I GOT ALL THE FREQUENCIES PROGRAMMED IN AND SET TO TRUNKED, BUT IM TRYING TO LOG ALL MY TALKGROUPS INTO MY PROGRAMMING SOFTWARE AND IT WON'T EXCEPT THE NUMBERS

EXAMPLE: LONG BRANCH OPS 07B 1968

IT WONT ACCEPT THAT

RIGHT NOW I HAVE THE SCANNER DOING AN ID SEARCH AND IM PICKING UP SOME CHATTER, BUT WITH ALL THIS INFO I HAVE AVAILABLE I SHOULD BE ABLE TO HEAR EVERYTHING
