JEA TGID 1083

Hi all. I have been monitoring St Johns, Clay and Jax P25 systems with a couple of rtl-sdrs, sdrtrunk and trunking recorder. In trying to monitor JEA on the JAX system, I found a talkgroup labeled St Johns Operations. Anyone have any insight? Is 1083 a JEA TID?

That was the original use for that Tg, now they may have made changes. I don't listen to JEA Tgs except Security so if you find a change and verify it conclusively submit it to the Database. Remember each power plant has multiple tgs for different functions at the plants on different tgs.

This is sounding like a radio comms unit talkgroup. Someone asked if anyone was up on the comm channel. Also references to Motorola.

If you can keep listening to it,because they were having poor communication in the New JEA Building late last year and they may be installing BDA's in the Building. It could be that channel will be used there or they just may be just using it for testing on that one.
