I already had admins remove the Huffman tower SITE 2. It has been replaced with the AFRN.

On the AFRN Huffman site I am seeing it peered with Graysville, Palmerdale and The Simulcast sites. Unfortunately I don't have an antenna big enough right now to reach these sites to verify. But if I am seeing them peered I know these sites are at the least broadcasting AFRN I just don't know how far along. Huffman completely switched off JC800 about 3 weeks ago.

The new site ids for the AFRN sites kinda follow the old site numbering scheme of JC800.

I have all the freq. for the AFRN Birmingham ( TelVue ) site in my scanners and none of them are receiving a control channel from the freq. listed by RR for this site. That is telling me that the site is off the air and the fact that I live 2 air miles from this site.

sorry, i was sleep deprived.
i ment to ask how do you know if its the jeffco simulcast site.

this site is a pain in the rear to figure out .
to many sites are on telvue. if you do a search you see like 5 lists for bham jefferson county . this is way to crazy.

since its the simulcast i dont know if there is any way to actually find out what site it is.
because if its simulcast all sites are sending data at the same time . unlike a standalone site which is not sending systemwide. only traffic bouncing off that site . at the most 10 sites are sending data at the same time . thus i dont think there is anyway to pin a site down .
maybe morgan can enlighten this question .
