I would like to thank all of the people that have posted frequencies for Birmingham & Jefferson county.
There is a wealth of information on all of these threads and I appreciate all of the hard work.
I would like to see a new thread if one is not already on R R forums that has all of the frequencies for
Birmingham & Jefferson County listed on one thread, the Jefferson County thread is ok.
Or at least one for Jefferson County TRS and one for VHF/UHF and other frequencies not Part of the TRS system.
There are so many threads for Birmingham it is hard to keep up with them all.
It would be nice to have all of the frequencies and info in just one or two threads, that way it
would be much easier to find the frequencies when searching for ones that may not be listed yet on R R database.

Am I the only one that can't get the 852.6125Mhz CC today? Usually it's the strongest here, I think it's the ST. Vincents East Water Tower site.

Thanks. Whatever site it is it's back up. I can usually pick up two control channels at the house - 855.6875 which is definitely a simulcast site and 856.6125 which I don't think is. Using 855.6875 lets me hear almost everything on the system but the simulcast "wavering" causes a lot of dropped conversations. 856.6125 seems to work with all of Trussville's channels and JCSO channel 1 without the simulcast problems.

when the bham system was first constructed, they had four sites this info was from a capt. that i knew in the tech. services. (this was before they merged into the county system or vice versa

Vestavia no longer operates their old 800. Vestavia is on the Jeff Co TRs operating in analog.
