I just bought a Jetstream JTD-2 Discone and put it up today. I hooked it to one of my scanners and it don't pickup much. I tried the weather Stations and can pick up one when I usally pickup 4 with my antennacraft ST-2. This discone is like its not even connected like Im only on coax. The JTD-2 is up higher then the ST-2 and in the open but when I hook up the St-2 it blows the discone away and I can hear 4 wx stations.
Is the Jetstream JTD-2 Discone junk or is there something wrong with it? I sure can not get it to work right.
