Looks good. For what it's worth, it may be a good idea to space those mirror mounts a little further apart.

raise that yagi up about six inches and spin it so the elements are vertical; you're currenly losing almost 20 db of gain with the horizontal polarization

other than that awesome setup (if a little unsafe with the laptop there :p)

a few funny looks but no hassles i dont go to indiana where scanners are very illegal
lots of other driver ask me about them when i stop at truck stops for fuel

Nice looking setup. Between WLW (via AM or XM) and all of those scanners, things shouldn't be too quiet for you! I guess the WLW reference is me assuming most truckers listen to WLW.... I do when I can.

I've been really tempted to get an 800 mhz beam. That looks awful enticing!

Ahhh the days of cb radio. I love your RCI 2950!. My favorite radio when I was into cb's as well.

Don't forget the Astatic noise cancelling microphone hooked to that 2950... LOL

We owe our greatest radio achivements to truckers. Echo boards and Satellite Radio. :D
