Does anyone know how to set the KPC3+( STAND ALONE MODE, NO SOFTWARE) to digipeat so that the KPC3+ adds your call sign in the packets when digipeated?
Currently I'm adding Widen-N in "myalias" to make it digipeat. Stand-alone, I'm not sure of any other way in the programming.
I have my lat/long in my btext, no issues there. I've been utilizing most of the settings in intface terminal, no issues.
I'm missing something though. Currently when digipeated packets that are displayed will show source-->destination-->
digipeats-->etc..(widen-N) and not my call sign, instead of my call sign it types wide n_N that I'm programming into "myalias".
I verify that my KPC3+ is digipeating by it's TX light and monitoring on the KPC3+ KTERM terminal as well as other radios/softwares, etc..
This isn't an exhaustive report of everything I've tried due to not wanting to make a long thread. So, any suggestions
no matter how obvious are welcome.
I've read the manual and searched high and low but all my configurations seem to fail...so far..
I'm currently using my KPC3+ as a local PBBS BUT I have another kpc3+ terminal on the way...
Yes I can reach out to Ken Baker at Kantronics BUT I chose this path because if anyone has OTHER great tips/tricks IN ADDITION to my issue I would love to hear them regarding my model..
Thanks all...
