I'm looking for a spare bracket for a KCH-19 basic control head, attached to a VM5000 deck. I'd like to setup the control head on the Bulletpoint 20mm ball system on my dash, and also have another bracket ready to go in my go kit if I need to remove the radio from the mobile for a field operation.
Is there a part number for just the bracket, or are they only available with the remote head kit? I have a old Uniden bracket that's slim enough to work, but needs to be cut in half to be wide enough. The Bulletpoint plate would hold the two halves together, but it will look ugly.
