I have a TM-733 Dual band -=I odered another mic -the MC-58DM But it ust Transmit when I plug it into the radio. I unplug it it stops tramiting. The old mic was a MC-45DM It looks to me that they are wired different. Kenwood says they are the same. Could someone look and see what they see. Thanks Scott KJ4NDQ

I ordered mine from HRO last year MC-57DM / MC-58 DM and it works good

57 DM is the round connect 58 DM is the flatter phone type connector [sorry best description I can give you]

Sorry to sound a little anal Scott, but does the MC-58DM have a transmit lock switch on it?
I've done that with a new radio, not realize that the mike was locked on xmit out of the box, and it took me a bit to figure it out.
